Introduction CCU has the most complete sports and leisure complex in Talwan' s universities. To develop a balance of sports development between southern and northern Taiwan, CCU established the Graduate Institute of Sports and Leisure Education in 2002 and the Department of Athletic Sports in 2009. These master and bachelor degree programs are dedicated to cultivate professionals in sports science, sports and leisure management, physical education and athletic sports through rigorous academic and athletic training. Introduction The Graduate Institute of Education was officially established on August 1st, 1996 under the approval from the Ministry of Education. Appointed as the first Director of the Institute, Professor Kuang-Hsiung Huang committed himself to improve the educational environment, research facilities, well-designed curriculum and specialized fields of the faculty for the prospects of cultivating academic professionals in education. Founded in 1999, the Doctoral program and in-service Master program aim to nurture educational specialists and to offer teachers in Yunlin and Chiayi School Districts further academic learning and training. To strengthen the instructional capacity of the faculty and diversification of curriculum, the Institute was combined with the Graduate Institute of Curriculum Studies in 2013 and launched enrollment on August 1st, 2014. The combination of the two graduate institutes has promoted its competitiveness among domestic institutes of education and to form the solid foundation for its uniqueness on teaching, research, and service.

Introduction The E-Learning Master Program of Education and School Leadership (EESL) is a full English-taught program at National Chung Cheng University (CCU) and provides those who work at the schools and the educational institutions around the nation and world with opportunities to build up professional skills through online learning, mainly contributed by the academic staff from the Graduate Institute of Education, the Department of Adult and Continuing Education, the Center for Teacher Education, and the other units of the College. Our faculty members are not merely experienced lecturers but also experts in research and educational practices, particularly on the trends and issues in the fields of Education and School Leadership.
This program offers students not only a holistic online educational experiences of Taiwan but also a designed distance learning platform. In addition, this program is structured into required and optional courses and offers students a total of two times, face-to-face opportunities within the two-year study period, including the orientation week in the first semester and thesis oral defense week in the fourth semester. Basically, the students must attend these two time face-to-face meetings. For the courses attendances, students would be required to follow the related regulation and only three times Leave Application would be allowed per semester. If a scholarship recipient absents for more than three times per class in a semester, his/her scholarships will be suspended in the next semester.
Curriculum planning Student need to complete at least 28 credits by the end of the study. Apart from satisfying the academic requirements for the successful completion of 28 credits, students must conduct a Thesis and take the viva voce examination before the Master’s degree is granted.
Future map The educational goal is to enhance students’ scientific knowledge, ability, and sense about the educational policy and school leadership. Moreover, we are looking forward to expanding students' ability of comparative and international education, multicultural perceptivity, and cultivating comprehensive professional competency so as to facilitate students with lifelong learning potentiality. With a Master degree in Education, our graduates are expected to expand more professional knowledge and skills and can be contributing to the educational system.

Introduction The International Master Program in Educational Leadership and Management Development (ELMD) is a full English program at National Chung Cheng University (CCU), mainly contributed by the academic staff from the Graduate Institute of Education, the Department of Adult and Continuing Education and the Center for Teacher Education. Our faculty members are not merely experienced teachers but also experts in research and educational practices, particularly on the trends and issues in the fields of Educational Leadership, Management and Development.
Curriculum planning Students shall normally pursue the total minimum number of 30 credits by the end of the study, including 3 credits in the compulsory course. Students may pursue credits from external higher education institutions, and, in this case, totally the maximum number of credits are 6. To take those credits into account of the Program Academic Requirement for Credits, subscription on the Letter of Consent for Pursuit of Credits from External Academic Institutions both from the Program Director and the Chief Executive Officer of the Program are needed by the end of the second stage of Course Addition/Cancellation Period on the University’s academic calendar every term-time.
Apart from satisfying the academic requirements for the successful completion of the related credits, candidates must conduct a Thesis and take the viva voce examination before the Master's degree is granted.
