Application for the 2026 Fall Semester CCU scholarship

 

The CCU scholarship application for Fall 2026 is open. Application must be submitted through the Online System. The application period is from February 24 to March 31. Application Link: https://www026147.ccu.edu.tw/cc_int/

Please do not submit your application on the last day. If any system issues occur, we will have time to resolve them before the system closes. Once the system closes, we will not accept any applications and additional documents. If we do not receive your application by the deadline, we will assume that you do not intend to apply for this scholarship. No further reminders or notification will be sent.

1.Required Documents

(1). Transcript of the last semester or Research Proposal and Recommendation Letter

Please check your credit hours and your grades in the transcript. Additionally, confirm the maximum duration of your scholarship eligibility.

Remarks:

  1. Undergraduate students who extend their studies due to a double major may apply for an exception in their fifth year, they must also submit their transcript.
  2. Master’s students may apply for a third year by submitting the transcript from previous semesters, a recommendation letter from their academic advisor and research achievements (including thesis progress and published work).
  3. The students who receive the government scholarship are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  4. It is not necessary for the students who are freshmen and enrolled in the 2026 Spring semester to apply for the scholarship for the 2026 Fall semester . 

(1/2): Research Proposal and Recommendation Letter. 

These documents are only submitted for Master or Ph.D students who are currently in the process of writing their thesis and do not have a Fall 2025 transcript.

If you have completed multiple theses, please provide a list of your research accomplishments for committee’s references.

 

(2). Evaluation Form of Chinese Language Proficiency and Academic Performance of International Students (Attachment I) – This form should be filled out by the department.

## Evaluation Form of Student’s Chinese Language Proficiency and Chinese Courses Attendance (Attachment II) – This form should be filled out by the Language Center 

This document is only required for students who have been evaluated by their department to take Chinese Courses. However, Some master’s or Ph.D. students may apply for exemption from Chinese courses under the official permission granted by the department committees or advisors.

** For students who require the “Evaluation Form of Student’s Chinese Language Proficiency and Chinese Courses Attendance (Attachment II),” the OIA can assist in collecting and forwarding the form to the Language Center. Please submit the form to the OIA by March 17 if you require this evaluation. Before submitting the form to the OIA, please ensure that the International Student Profile section in the evaluation form is completed clearly and accurately. This will help the professor at the Language Center identify you. Please pick up the completed form from the OIA on March 24, and then upload it to the application system.**

 

2. Outstanding Performance Awards

If you would like to apply for the outstanding performance awards, please submit the supporting documents,

1. certificates of achievement or your transcript (showing that you ranked within the top 50% of your class in the previous semester — Fall 2025). Please apply for the Chinese version of the transcript, as it directly indicates your class ranking.

2. Each applicant is also required for a recommendation letter. The recommender should send the letter DIRECTLY to the department or college by the application deadline. Applications without a recommendation letter received by the deadline will NOT be considered.

For the students applying for the scholarship that requires both a recommendation letter and a research proposal, the same recommendation letter may be used for both applications. If the recommendation letter is intended to serve as a supporting document for both applications, please ensure that the letter includes a reference to the Outstanding Performance Awards.

 

3. Complete and submit the application online form

Please refer to the Guideline for applying for CCU scholarship application process (Attachment III).

After submitting your application, please check your application status in the system to ensure it shows “Department Under Review.”.
