We warmly invite international students to submit a short essay or/and video to share their internship experience.
All eligible submissions will receive a token of appreciation (up to NT$10000 for short video and NT$3000 for short essay) in recognition of the creators’ time and effort. Selected works may be featured in the university’s promotional materials to help future students learn from real-life insights.

Goal of the Campaign: The goal of this campaign is to encourage international students at National Chung Cheng University to reflect on and share their internship experiences through short essays or short videos. By showcasing personal stories of growth, challenge, and achievement, the campaign aims to:

• Highlight the diverse internship journeys of international students
• Inspire peers with real-life experiences and insights
• Promote cross-cultural learning and engagement on campus
• Create a platform for students to gain visibility and recognition

Organizer: Office of International Affairs, CCU

Who can join: Undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students currently enrolled at National Chung Cheng University may each submit only one piece of work per category—that is, one short essay and one short video. Duplicate submissions in the same category are not allowed.

Submission Period: From the date of this announcement until 5:00 PM on Friday, July 4, 2025

Submission Method: Please submit your short essay by email to the designated address. For video submissions, upload your short video to a personal cloud drive and set the sharing permission to “anyone with the link can view.” The video URL will serve as your official submission. In addition, please also remember to sign and send the following documents along with your work to the designated email address:
1. A completed registration form
2. A valid Alien Residence Certificate
3. A valid Work Permit

Short Essay Submission Guidelines:

1. Language: English or Chinese

2. Length: 500 English words or 750–850 Chinese characters (Please include 3-4 photos related to your internship experience in your essay. Ensure they are appropriate and that you have the rights or permission to use them.)

3. Format: Submit as a Word document (.docx) with a Filename: YourName_EssayTitle.docx

4. Font & Size: Times New Roman, 12-point for English or 標楷體或微軟正黑體，12號字for Chinese

5. Spacing & Margins:

(1.) Line spacing: 1.5
(2.) Alignment: Justified

6. Title:

(1.) Centered and bold
(2.) Author’s name below the title

7. Submission Method: Send via email as instructed and ensure all required documents (e.g., a completed registration form, a valid ARC, a valid work permit, a signed Personal Data Consent Form, and a signed Copyright License Agreement) are submitted together.

Short Video Submission Guidelines:

1. Video Type and Length: There are no restrictions on the format. The video should be between 1 to 3 minutes in length.

2. Video Specifications: The video should be in vertical format, saved in formats such as AVI, MPG, or MP4. The resolution must be at least HD 1080p, and the file format should be compatible with the YouTube platform.

3. Format: Submission with a Filename: YourName_VideoTitle.

4. Submission Method: Creators should upload their videos to a personal cloud drive and set the sharing link to “anyone with the link can view.” The video URL will serve as the basis for submission. The file must remain accessible throughout the campaign period until the list of eligible and selected works is officially announced. If the link becomes invalid or the file is deleted, the submission will be disqualified. Please make sure that all required documents (e.g., a completed registration form, a valid ARC, a valid work permit, a signed Personal Data Consent Form, and a signed Copyright License Agreement) are sent to the designated email address after uploading your video.

5. Use of Authorized Materials: All videos must use authorized footage, images, and music. If any copyright infringement is reported or discovered by the organizer, the creators shall bear full legal responsibility.

6. Originality Requirement: Submissions must be original works that have not been previously published, awarded, or released. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. If any plagiarism or falsehood is reported or disputed and proven true, the creators will be held legally responsible.

Review Criteria: Relevance to Theme, Creativity and Originality, Clarity of Expression, and Technical Quality

Notice:

(1.) The organizer reserves the right to adjust or make the final interpretation of the campaign rules. Any unspecified matters may be revised or announced based on actual circumstances.

(2.) By completing registration, creators are deemed to have voluntarily provided their personal information. If the submitted information is found to be false, incomplete, inaccurate, or results in the inability to contact the creator, the submission or reward eligibility will be canceled. The creator will also be fully responsible for any civil or criminal liability caused to the organizer or any third party.

活動目標：本次活動旨在鼓勵中正大學的境外學生透過短文或短片的形式，回顧並創意分享其實習經驗。透過呈現個人成長、挑戰與收穫的故事，期望達成以下目標：

• 突顯境外學生多元的實習歷程

• 促進校園內的跨文化學習與交流

參加對象：凡目前就讀於中正大學之學士班、碩士班與博士班之境外學生皆可參加，每人每類別限提交一件作品，亦即短文與短片各限一件，同類別不得重複投稿。

1. 影片類型與長度：格式不限，影片長度為1至3分鐘

2. 影片規格：採直式拍攝，支援AVI、MPG、MP4等格式，解析度須達HD 1080p以上，並能在YouTube平台順利播放

3. 命名格式：姓名_影片標題

4. 上傳方式：請將影片上傳至個人雲端空間（如 GoogleDrive、OneDrive等），並設定連結為「擁有連結者可檢視」，影片連結即作為投稿依據。影片連結須保持可存取狀態，直到合格和精選作品名單公布。若連結失效或檔案遭移除，將喪失資格。影片上傳後，請將完整報名資料（報名表、有效外僑居留證、有效工作許可證、個資使用同意書、著作權授權同意書）寄送至指定電子信箱。

5. 授權素材使用原則：影片內容須使用合法授權之影像、音樂與素材。若經檢舉或發現有侵權行為，創作者須自行負擔所有法律責任。

6. 原創性要求：作品須為原創，且未曾公開發表、獲獎或參與其他比賽。嚴禁抄襲，如經查證屬實，將取消活動資格，並由創作者承擔相關法律責任。

• 技術品質

注意事項：

1. 主辦單位保有調整及最終解釋活動辦法之權利，未盡事宜得依實際情況補充公告。
