International youth recommendation instructions


I. About the event
i. Date: October 18 to 22, 2022 (including two days of the forum: October 21 to 22)
ii. Organizer: Youth Development Administration, Ministry of Education
iii. Venue: See Attachment 1 for the event itinerary (the Administration reserves the right to change the itinerary)
iv. Event languages: English
v. Entries: 5 International students (3 students in Acceptance list and 2 students in  Wait List)

II. Information on recommendation

i. Target participants:
 1. Recommended by their college/university: 160 (including those on the accepted and waiting lists) global youth between the ages of 18 to 35 (limited to those born between January 1, 1986 and December 31, 2004). When a participant on the accepted list is not able to attend, another participant will be chosen from the waiting list based on such considerations as achieving a balance of nationalities and genders.

 2. Recommended by Study in Taiwan (SIT) talent database program office: 20 global youth who have graduated in Taiwan and are between the ages of 18 to 35 (limited to those born between January 1, 1986 and December 31, 2004).

 3. Youth who are preferably proactive, positive, possess a strong spirit of teamwork, who can attend the entire agenda—including both the visit activities and two-day forum—with their group, have relevant experience, are enthusiastic about participating in international exchanges, and are interested in the forum topics (see Attachment 2).

ii. Recommendation method: Recommendations are open from today until 5:00 p.m. on July 20 . Send the completed youth recommendation form (electronic file, see Attachment 3) to ccuoiais@gmail.com

iii. The list of confirmed participants will be announced on the official website and the iYouth Platform for Making Youth’s International Dreams Happen in mid September. When a participant on the accepted list loses eligibility to attend, another participant will be chosen in sequence from the waiting list.
