The Ministry of Education has forwarded an exciting opportunity from the Ministry of Environment : "2026 International Environmental Issues and Education Workshop" is now open for registration!
Under the theme 【The Perfect Blend: Brewing a Sustainable Future】 , this workshop will guide participants on an immersive journey to explore how Taiwan transforms massive amounts of coffee waste into valuable resources, paving the way toward a net-zero circular economy. If you want to expand your international horizon and exchange environmental insights with youth from various backgrounds, don't miss out!
Date: Monday, August 10 to Tuesday, August 11, 2026 (2 days & 1 night).
Venues: Come True Coffee (Taichung Audit Village), Guocun Coffee Estate (Changhua), National Hotel (Taichung), and Changhua Farmers' Association.
Cost: Course fees, meals, accommodation, and shuttle service during the event are fully covered by the organizer. (A deposit of NT$1,000 is required upon acceptance and will be fully refunded in cash upon completion of the workshop) .
Quota: Total of 35 participants (Targeting 30 international students and 5 Taiwanese youth).
👥 Target Applicants (Priority given to first-time participants)
International Students: Currently enrolled in Taiwanese universities, with a primary focus on students from the Asia-Pacific region.
Taiwanese Youth: University students (including Master's and Ph.D. students) or young professionals in environmental fields with an interest in environmental education. English proficiency certification is required.
Registration Period: From May 15, 2026, until June 15, 2026 (Monday).
