Hokkaido University, Japan, is now accepting applications for the International Graduate Program (IGP) Special MEXT Scholarship with enrollment commencing in October 2027.

The program is offered by the Graduate School of Life Science and is designed for outstanding students who wish to pursue advanced studies and research in the field of life sciences. Selected applicants will receive full financial support under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship.

• 5 Doctoral positions with full scholarship support
• 3 Master’s positions with full scholarship support

Applicants are encouraged to identify and contact a prospective academic supervisor at an early stage to discuss their research interests and suitability for the program. After obtaining the supervisor’s agreement, all required application documents should be submitted to the supervisor, who will forward the materials to the IGP Administration Office.
